Rachel Berry wins Miss Oregon title, Marli Marion selected Miss Outstanding Teen at Scholarship Pageant

SEASIDE - A 24-year old Aloha resident has been crowned Miss Oregon at the 66th annual Miss Oregon Scholarship Program and Pageant in Seaside.

Rachel Berry was crowned Saturday night. Berry's scholarship and career ambition is to obtain a Masters Degree in Psychology and become the first female host of NBC Television's the "Tonight Show."

She will compete Jan. 12 at the Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas.

Marlin Martin, 14, of Central Point won the Miss Oregon Scholarship Outstanding Teen crown.

The two were selected from 45 other contestants during the final day of the Scholarship Pageant Saturday at the Seaside Civic and Convention Center.
