Seaside, Gearhart, Cannon Beach students named to OSU honor roll

Student achievement from the South County to Corvallis

Names of students who have made the scholastic honor roll fall term have been announced by Oregon State University.

A total of 1,427 students earned straight-A (4.0). Another 4,483 earned a B-plus (3.5) or better to make the listing. To be on the Honor Roll, students must carry at least 12 graded hours of course work.

In Cannon Beach Annuka A. Brown, a sophomore and biology major was named to the honor roll with a 3.5 or better average.

Seaside graduates earning a 3.5 or better average include Christian D. Anderson, senior, environmental sciences major; Emma R. Dutcher, freshman with a major in psychology; Nicholas Nelson, senior, history major; Rachel M. Stahly, junior, a speech communication major; Joshua M. Strozzi, sophomore, majoring in pre-computer science; Brittany A. West, freshman, a pre-forestry major.,

In Gearhart, freshman Hunter L. Thompson, maintained a straight A average. Thompson is a pre-forest/civil engineering major. With a 3.5 or better average, Rebekah L. Cave, a senior majoring in human development and family scienceand Aimee R. Schacher, a senior majoring in anthropology, both made the honor roll.
