Northwest By Northwest Gallery invites small groups of women and individuals interested in learning more about art and process to a professional women’s art tour 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10.

Enjoy casual conversation with a glass of Northwest wine in hand. The event is open to anyone interested in art. Cannon Beach is a place where many meetings and retreats of professional women gather.

Meet Northwest wine educator Patrick McElligott, representing Sineann Winery, and local artist Hazel Schlesinger.

Schlesinger’s paintings are seen around the world in TV series, international commercials and movies. Her paintings have been published in Southwest Art Magazine. She is the 2017 People’s Choice winner for Plein Air & More.

The event is free but limited to 25 people. Register by email to info@nwbynwgallery.com. Include your full name, contact email and phone number.

Curator Joyce Lincoln is an advocate for the arts who works with architects and developers and as a public art consultant.

Public sculptures are seen throughout Cannon Beach. Efforts are underway to bring back a public art program.
