Cannon Beach Reads presents a monthly discussion group at the Cannon Beach Library. Upcoming titles include “Mink River,” by Brian Doyle (Sept. 19); “The Handmaid’s Tale,” by Margaret Atwood (Oct. 17); “Overbooked: The Exploding Business of Travel and Tourism,” by Elizabeth Becker (Nov. 21); and “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind,” by Yuval Noah Harari (Dec. 19).

Books are available for loan at the Cannon Beach Library, for purchase at Cannon Beach Book Company or through online book dealers.

Cannon Beach, Arch Cape and Seaside residents and visitors attend monthly meetings of Cannon Beach Reads for conversation, coffee or tea and cookies. New members are encouraged to participate.
