The Astoria School District is inviting the public to tour schools Wednesday and provide input at a community meeting Thursday as the Astoria School Board decides whether to go out for a new school improvement bond.
The events were rescheduled from late last month because of icy weather.
The tour starts at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Astoria High School, before heading to Astoria Middle School and John Jacob Astor Elementary School. The district will provide transportation on school buses.
The district will hold a community meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the middle school to gather public input on the district’s facilities needs.
