A Warrenton woman was arrested Tuesday after allegedly cooking a Chihuahua alive in an oven.

Noel Moor, 28, allegedly cooked the 7-year-old dog Monday night. She has been charged with first-degree animal abuse in the dog’s death.

Moor had been involved in several disturbances in the past month that have led to interactions with Clatsop Behavioral Healthcare, according to a police report. After a person close to Moor reported the incident Tuesday, Warrenton police arrested her while she was at Columbia Memorial Hospital.
