Work on the Bond Street retaining wall project is planned to start within the next week, resulting in traffic restrictions and a closure of Bond Street just east of Hume Avenue.

The purpose of this project is to open the west end of Bond Street to two-way traffic. Construction of a new retaining wall is necessary to gain the space needed for this improvement.

In preparation for this work, there will be several temporary traffic delays and a closure of Bond Street on Wednesday.

Notification of parking restrictions will occur prior to the work. Residents should use alternate routes where possible. All schedules are subject to change in the event of unfavorable weather conditions. For questions, call 503-338-5173.
