March 24

9:37 a.m., 1400 block N. Roosevelt: Subjects are warned for unlawful lodging.

9:41 a.m., 1000 block 24th Avenue: Multiple callers report a dog on the highway. Officer locate the dog and take it into custody.

11:19 a.m., 1700 block 12th Avenue: An assault in the fourth degree is reported.

11:42 p.m., N. Prom: A couple having a verbal disagreement over their dogs are reported as a disturbance.

March 25

12:51 a.m., 400 block 2nd Avenue: A subject is charged with disorderly conduct in the second degree and transported to detox.

3:29 a.m., 1200 block S. Holladay Drive: Police engaged with a subject parked at the gas pumps when the station was closed; the person has no driving privileges and was warned not to operate the vehicle.

5:00 a.m., Holladay Drive: A minor in possession of alcohol was taken to detox.

8:34 a.m., 800 block S. Holladay Drive: An assault was reported.

9:23 p.m., 700 block Beach Drive: Caller reports a man dragging an intoxicated female into a house; police responding say the woman was part of a group staying at the house; the man was helping the intoxicated woman.

March 26

6:27 p.m., Beach: Someone who lost their hearing aid at the beach reports it.

12:17 a.m., Huckleberry and Cooper: A suspicious circumstance is reported.

11:38 a.m., 300 block Avenue A: Caller reports subject who shouldn’t be on property left when asked. Subject gone prior to police arrival.

2:14 p.m., Avenue S: Caller reports transient with a visible foot infection. Transient tells police checking he will seek medical help on his own.

10:05 p.m., 500 block Beach Drive: A subject is arrested on a warrant.

March 28

2:39 p.m., Carousel Mall: A 5 year old child reported missing was subsequently reunited with its mother.

6:09 p.m., N. Columbia: A motor vehicle hit-and-run was reported.

11:33 p.m., Highway 101: A person is arrested on a warrant.

March 29

1:15 a.m., S. Roosevelt: A person who failed to register as a sex offender was cited.

9:18 a.m., Seaside Police Department: Caller brought in who is addicted to drugs to inquire about treatment options. Information was given and the pair went on to pursue their options.

2:48 p.m., Avenue A: A subject was reported behaving suspiciously in a parking garage, said to be looking at cars and going up and down the stairs. Police make contact and find out it is a gentleman trying to get his exercise and stay out of the rain.

2:02p.m. 1200 block G Street: Seaside police assist Gearhart police looking for the subject of an attempted burglary of storage units.

4:56 p.m., Highway 101 MP 17: Seaside police assist Gearhart police with a DUII stop.

5:43 p.m., 300 block S. Roosevelt: Caller reports that three days prior, 11 youths got out of one vehicle in the Rite Aid parking lot and then were not seen again. Caller suspects they are runaways. Police advise caller to let them know if anything further happens.

April 1

6:06 a.m., 1st Avenue and Roosevelt: Police respond to a report of a suspicious person peering into parked vehicles. Police are unable to locate.

10:36 a.m., 200 block S. Holladay Drive: Person reports resting their laptop on the roof of their vehicle before getting into the car and forgetting to take it off. Laptop lost somewhere on roadway. Laptop’s owner requests anyone finding laptop please take it to the police department.

12:57 p.m., King Street and Avenue H: Caller reports U-Haul blocking roadway. Police determine it is a person moving in and vehicle is not blocking the roadway.

3:13 p.m., Avenue U: Caller reports underage party. Resident of the house tells police he is cooking. He is advised to turn music down. No intoxication.

April 2

1:26 p.m., 700 block 25th Avenue: A deceased person is reported.

2:56 p.m., Convention Center: Caller reports a motor vehicle hit and run, claiming someone rammed their vehicle and took off. Police responding say the report was unfounded and there was no damage to either vehicle.

April 3

12:22 p.m., 7th Avenue and Holladay: A transient couple having a loud disagreement were warned of disorderly conduct. They agreed to separate for a time.

1:13 p.m., 4th and Prom: A found seahorse key chain with a key was turned over to police.

April 4

12:42 a.m., 1100 block Avenue B: Caller reports unlicensed driver took off with her vehicle.

6:41 p.m., 1300 block 2nd Avenue: Police respond for a welfare check on a person who dialed 911; the caller is determined to be intoxicated but not an emergency; caller said they did not mean to call 911.

April 5

2:29 p.m., 1900 block N. Roosevelt: Caller says people are lying on the sidewalk near the highway; police responding say the subject is intoxicated and just wanted to rest. They are advised to walk their bike and move on.

3:39 p.m., Columbia and Broadway: Caller reports subject yelling racial slurs and obscenities. Police locate individual, who is intoxicated, and warn him to knock it off.

April 6

5:24 a.m., Seaside Library: A person who set up camp in the entrance of the library and was found sleeping in front of the main doors was asked to leave. The person complied with the request and packed up their belongings.

9:34 a.m., 1100 block S. Downing: A theft in the third degree is reported.

12:09 p.m., 2400 block Queen Street: DHS reports allegations of father yelling at children when drunk. Children in school and DHS to interview them in Warrenton. Officer awaiting DHS to respond to Seaside to interview father.

9:21 p.m., Avenue K and The Prom: Caller reports subject chasing them on The Prom; police are unable to locate anyone of this description.
