The second annual “Boos, Blues and Brews” came to Seaside Saturday night, with music, costumes and fun. The Halloween event brought crowds from all over to the Seaside Elks Lodge.

Prizes for best costume, best couples’ costumes and “guess who I am” provided highlights and fun for the event, presented by the Seaside Downtown Development Association and its sponsors.

Redwood Son and the Ted Vaughn Blues Band kicked off the night of music, followed by the indie rock group Blitzen Trapper who launched their national tour from Seaside. Next stop for the Portland-based Blitzen Trapper? Atlanta, Georgia on Nov. 2, with dates in Durham, North Carolina and Richmond, Virginia, to follow.
