The Clatsop County Elections Division would like to remind voters that Thursday, Nov. 2 is the last day to mail in ballots for the Nov. 7 special election to ensure they are received on time.

Ballots for the election that are mailed must be received at the elections office by Nov. 7 in order to be counted – postmarks do not count.

Voters returning their ballots by hand have until 8 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 7, to drop ballots off at one of these locations:

• Clatsop County Clerk’s Office, Public Services Building, 820 Exchange St., Astoria or 24-hour drop box in front of office.

• Gearhart City Hall, 698 Pacific Way, Gearhart

• Warrenton City Hall, 225 S. Main Ave., Warrenton

The election features a ballot measure for Gearhart voters regarding vacation rental regulations, and a local option levy for library operations for Warrenton voters.

For more information contact the Clerk and Elections Office at 503-325-8511 or go to www.co.clatsop.or.us.
