Oct. 21

1:47 a.m., Broadway: While on patrol, police encounter a subject behaving in a disorderly manner outside a restaurant. The person is warned of their conduct and agrees to head home for the night.

12:21 p.m., Beach Drive: Police make contact with a woman who is upset about a number of issues. After doing some problem solving with her, the subject was put in contact with someone who might be able to help her.

1:49 p.m., N. Roosevelt: A yelling, screaming man was told to stop yelling. He told police he was waiting for a bus.

5:23 p.m., 900 block 2nd Avenue: An intoxicated woman who fell down in the street was transported to Providence Seaside Hospital by Medix.

7:06 p.m., 400 block S. Roosevelt: A subject dressed in samurai costume with a sword is described as menacing by a caller. Police canvassing the area are unable to locate.

Oct. 22

20:44 p.m., Holiday Inn and Riverwalk: A woman reported as having an argument with herself is determined to be fine.

Oct. 23

1:54 a.m., Seaside Cinema: Suspicious circumstances are reported.

12:29 p.m., 2000 block S. Downing: An abandoned/junk vehicle is reported.

18:13 p.m., Avenue K and the Beach: A transient camp is reported; officers responding are unable to locate.

Oct. 24

1:28 a.m., Avenue J: A man reported to be yelling and creating a disturbance is warned by police to quiet down.

10:34 a.m., Broadway: A restaurant/bar patron reported to the manager that an employee had touched them inappropriately. The manager requested police trespass the patron from the business.

Oct. 25

9:33 p.m. Sunset and The Cove: Police respond to a report of people fornicating in a car parked by the Cove. Police say on their arrival the subjects were fully clothed. Officer notified the complainant and advised they could pursue charges of disorderly conduct. The caller declined to pursue charges.

Oct. 26

11:48 a.m., 1800 block Spruce Drive: An assault in the fourth degree is reported. There was a second charge of menacing.

Oct. 27

2:31 a.m., First Avenue: Police respond to a report of unnecessary noise coming from an adjacent residence. Police observe the subject is nearly deaf and has the volume turned up to watch television. The subject is informed of the complaint and agrees to turn the tv off for the night.

1:42 p.m., Sixth Avenue: A person is charged with possession of cocaine.

Oct. 28

12:16 a.m., S. Downing: Police respond to a report of someone running down the street, possibly being pursued by an assailant. Police are unable to locate anyone of that description.

11:16 a.m., N. Wahanna: Police responding to a report of code violations at a residence find some.

16:18 p.m., Lea Way: A woman who called 911 to report someone yelling at her for 4 hours hung up the phone when a dispatcher asked for more information; police driving to the residence found no disturbance. The woman apologized for calling 911.

Oct. 29

3:39 p.m., Rite Aid: Surveillance video at Rite Aid caught a person attempting to pass fraudulent paper money before taking off. The fake money was confiscated by police who are reviewing the surveillance video.

3:26 p.m., The Cove: An assault is reported.

9:13 p.m., Highway 101: Seaside police assist Gearhart police on a traffic stop involving a domestic assault suspect.

Oct. 30

7:03 a.m., 1000 block Avenue I: An assault in the fourth degree is reported.

12:30 p.m., Seaside police station: A person comes in to register as a sex offender.

7:19 p.m., Rite Aid: A person whose license was suspended or revoked was arrested for driving without a legal license.

9:22 p.m., 1600 block S. Roosevelt: An assault in the second degree is reported.

Oct. 31

7:22 p.m., Cooper and Alder: Caller reports a bear sighting. Officers are unable to locate.

Nov. 1

1:42 a.m., Pocket Park: A person using the park as a place to sleep was told they couldn’t.

11:56 a.m., 500 block N. Holladay: A runaway is reported.

12:21 p.m., Spruce Drive: Two vehicles with expired tags are scheduled for tow.

4:25 p.m., Highway 101/Dutch Bros: Police assist elk herd crossing the road.

Nov. 2

1:06 a.m., Franklin and Avenue C: A person charged with unlawful entry of a motor vehicle is additionally charged with resisting arrest and for attempting to elude a police officer.

11:44 a.m., 1000 block N. Franklin: Police respond to a report of unwanted person trespassing on a property while homeowner is away. Evidence found included cigarettes, spoons, lighters, and towels on the premises, as well as concrete pilings moved on to the property for unknown reasons. Extra patrols are ordered for the area.

11:35 p.m., S. Columbia and Avenue E: A person in possession of meth is arrested.
