Friday, Dec. 1

8:06 a.m., Police HQ: A person comes in to report an assault in the fourth degree.

11:42 a.m., Police HQ: Person reports a subject who has been sending suicidal-intent texts but does not know the location of the subject. Police search the subject’s last known area, but are unable to locate.

5:48 p.m., 300 block S. Roosevelt: A subject reported passed out behind a store tells police they are taking a nap. Subject is advised to move along.

6:30 p.m., 1900 block Huckleberry: Police intervene in a custodial issue.

10:51 p.m., 1000 block 24th Avenue: A person is arrested for being in violation of a restraining order.

Saturday, Dec. 2

12:09 a.m., First Avenue: Police check on a woman reported to be making suicidal statements. The woman tells police she has no plans to hurt herself.

1:16 p.m., 800 block 13th Avenue: A theft in the second degree is reported.

Sunday, Dec. 3

1:57 p.m., 400 block Avenue K: Criminal mischief in the fourth degree is reported.

7:15 p.m., 400 block Holladay Drive: Caller reports a loud thud, “like someone falling into a flower box,” coming from the hotel next door. Police responding find nothing unusual.

Monday, Dec. 4

8:52 p.m., 200 block S. Holladay Drive: A person is put on mental hold by a police officer.

9:54 p.m., The Cove: Police put a mental hold on an individual.

11:58 p.m., Highway 101: An injured elk was dispatched by Oregon State Police after being struck by a car.

Tuesday, Dec. 5

2:36 a.m., 800 block S. Roosevelt: A person is arrested on a warrant.

4:43 a.m., 500 block S. Edgewood: An intoxicated man reported knocking on doors and making comments of a sexual nature was unable to be located.

4:10 p.m., 800 block N. Holladay Drive: A person or persons were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and interfering with a police officer.

7:54 p.m., 400 block S. Roosevelt: A single unfired round of ammunition was found by the entrance to a business. Police collected the property and processed it for destruction.

9:04 p.m., Seventh and King: Information how to obtain a stalking order was given to a resident who inquired about a neighborhood disturbance involving other parties.

Dec. 6

11:12 a.m., 300 block S. Roosevelt: Drug debris found on the floor of a business is collected and tagged for destruction by police.

11:27 a.m., Chamber restroom: Caller reports subject in a bathroom stall with a dog. Caller says one of them was making sinister sounds. Police are unable to locate.

8:27 p.m. 12th and The Prom: A person sleeping in the dunes was warned of unlawful lodging.

Dec. 7

1:55 a.m., Fifth Avenue: Police respond to a report of someone insistently knocking on a door. The subject is unable to be located.

8:39 a.m., 12th and Prom: Drug paraphernalia left as litter is picked up by the police and processed for destruction.

12:58 p.m., S. Downing: A driver stopped for speeding is discovered to have a suspended license and no insurance. They are cited for these violations and their vehicle is towed.

3:45 p.m., Highway 101: A person is arrested on a warrant and in possession of heroin.

Dec. 8

4:02 a.m., 900 block 15th Street: A runaway is reported.

1:39 p.m., 300 block S. Columbia: A girl reported by her mother as a runaway is located at her stepfather’s home. The girl is returned to her mother.

4:28 p.m., Seaside police station: A person is arrested and charged with being in violation of a restraining order.

Dec. 9

3:09 p.m., 1000 block 24th Avenue: Sexual abuse in the 1st degree is reported.

5:32 p.m., 700 block Tenth Avenue: An assault is reported.

7:07 p.m., Avenue A: An intoxicated man found urinating in bushes outside a restaurant is handed over to his more responsible friend. The friend tells police he will escort this person home even though the police recommend going to detox.

Dec. 10

3:27 a.m., 1000 block S. Columbia: An intoxicated man whose girlfriend said he was verbally abusive and throwing things around inside the residence was told by police to be quiet and go to sleep. The woman was advised to contact the police if he continued the behavior.

12:57 p.m., Broadway: Caller reports transient with an aggressive dog. Police make contact with the subject and say the dog is not at all aggressive.

2:29 p.m. 700 block Holladay: Police say a woman who made superficial cuts to her forearms and talked about ending her life was intoxicated. She accused the police of protecting drug dealers. Medix arrived on scene to transport her to Providence Seaside Hospital for detox and evaluation. Hospital security was alerted.

Dec. 11

1:51 a.m., 300 block Avenue A: Caller describes two intoxicated men jumping a fence near the post office; caller says one appears to have hit his head, but continued running, straight into a bar. Officers canvassing the area are unable to locate.

9:53 a.m., 1000 block S. Downing: Theft in the Second Degree is reported.

3:06 p.m., 1300 block Second Avenue: Police conduct a welfare check on a male subject reported to be suicidal.

Dec. 13

5:13 p.m., 1000 block S. Roosevelt: Police check on a youth lying in the grass by the community garden. The juvenile says he is ready to go home.
