Don’t dump at the thrift shop.

The Spay and Neuter Thrift Shop invites donations, but asks that residents do not discard unwanted items or trash. On Monday, volunteer Cheryle Barker reported unwanted items dumped by the shop.

The Spay and Neuter Thrift Shop of Seaside offers discount spay and neuter certificates for the residents of Clatsop County. The certificates are honored by the five veterinarians in the county. The shop offers great bargains on clothing, books, household items, shoes, small furniture, etc. The shop is closed Wednesdays for maintenance but will be available to give out certificates between 1 and 4 p.m. The shop is open on Sundays 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

For more information on what is acceptable for donation, call the shop at 503-738-7040 or visit the store at 600 Broadway in Seaside.
