Glenn Knox, chef de gare or station master and commander of Lane County Voiture 80 presents $1,001 to Diane Hazen, executive director of the Family Relief Nursery. Members of the veteran’s organization Forty & Eight from throughout Oregon held their 2016-17 convention, called a promenade, at the Village Green Resort in Cottage Grove.

Lou and Beverly Neubecker of Seaside attended the convention.

The Voyageurs and La Femmes contributed to the Family Relief Nursery knowing the funds are going to stay in these communities and help both children and families of Creswell, Cottage Grove and Drain.
