Providence Seaside offers classes in rethinking pain.


“Rethinking Pain” at Providence Seaside helps participants learn how pain develops and the connection between the body, brain and pain. The program provides simple calming techniques to decrease stress and quiet pain.

There is no charge but registration is required by phone at 800-562-8964 or at www.providence.org/classes.

Class dates and times: Thursday, Jan. 11, 12:30-2:30 p.m.; Tuesday, March 1, 12:30-2:30 p.m.; Tuesday, April 3, 12:30-2:30 p.m.; Thursday, May 24, 4-6 p.m.; Thursday, July 12, 12:30-2:30 p.m.; Thursday, Aug. 23, 4-6 p.m.; Tuesday, Oct. 2, 4-6 p.m.; Tuesday, Nov. 13, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Providence Seaside Hospital, Education Center, Room A, 725 S. Wahanna Road, Seaside.
