Trail’s End Gallery presents a “Pocket Sketching” workshop from June 15 to June 17, taught by Kath Macaulay. The class will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily at Trail’s End Gallery in Gearhart at 656 A Street.

Macaulay is a full-time painter and teacher of “Pocket Sketching” using watercolor with watercolor pens. Her workshop is ideal for the timid beginner to the advanced artist who wants minimal equipment, total portability, speed with no interruptions and no clean-up. The techniques and photos of John Singer Sargent are used extensively as teaching examples.
