Astoria senior Trey Hageman was named Player of the Year, and the Fishermen landed eight players total on the Cowapa All-League baseball team, as voted on by the league’s coaches.

Joe Baumgartner of Banks and Astoria’s Glen Fromwiller shared the Coach of the Year honors.

Five catchers in the six-team league were named all-league, and Seaside junior Alex Teubner was one of three catchers on the first team. He was joined by junior teammate Payton Westerholm, a first-team shortstop/pitcher.

Other Gulls earning all-league status were senior outfielder Astor Landwehr and sophomore pitcher Brayden Johnson, both selected honorable mention.
