GEARHART — Real estate brokers from Windermere Stellar’s Gearhart and Cannon Beach offices donated $9,550 in the first half of this year to local nonprofit organizations to benefit programs serving low-income children and families. The donation recipients included: the Autism Society of Oregon, Connect the Dots in Gearhart, the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Seaside, Warrenton-Hammond Healthy Kids Inc., the Cannon Beach Food Pantry, Start Making A Reader Today of Clatsop County, and the Warrenton-based Assistance League of the Columbia Pacific.

In addition to helping these local programs, Windermere associates participate in annual community service projects and donate a portion of every commission to the Windermere Foundation — a nonprofit organization that has raised and donated more than $2.9 million to programs in support of those who need help the most in the Portland metro and North Oregon Coast areas.
