Food bank holds fundraiser dinner and auction to fight hunger

CANNON BEACH — Clatsop Community Action holds its eighth annual “Coastal Harvest of Giving” dinner and auction from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Surfsand Resort Ballroom, 48 Gower Ave. in Cannon Beach. The event helps fund the CCA Regional Food Bank in its fight against hunger.

Tickets cost $150 per person ($100 is tax deductible), which are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and must be paid for in advance. Only 180 tickets will be available until Nov. 24, or until sold out.

A cocktail reception is from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by dinner from 7 to 8:30 p.m. by Chefs Bob Neroni and Josh Archibald. The program and auction conclusion are from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.

The mistress of ceremonies and auction host is Joyce Senior, and the speaker is Regional Food Bank Director Marlin Martin. Jeffrey Reynolds provides the musical presentations.
