Seaside Elks deliver Thanksgiving food boxes

Seaside Elks Lodge, through donations to its Holiday Helpers program and with assistance from a Elks National Foundation Beacon Grant, was able to deliver 126 boxes of food to local families. The boxes contained a turkey, eggs, fresh vegetables and fruit, along with canned and boxed food, batteries, toilet paper, toothpaste and more items needed by families. More than 30 volunteers helped pick up, sort and deliver the boxes. Among them were Past Grand Exalted Ruler Jim Damon, right, and his wife, DJ, who are pictured.
