WARRENTON — A Toys for Tots charity football game, the Oregon National Guard vs. the Coast Guard, takes place at noon Saturday at the Camp Rilea Armed Forces Training Center in Warrenton. All are welcome, and the gates open at 10 a.m. The event has activities for all ages.

The opening ceremony commences at 11:30 a.m. with the Oregon National Guard Color Guard, the national anthem, and a flyby from the Coast Guard. During the game, there is a kids’ area with fun and games. A food court has hamburgers and hot dogs; for the adults, there is a beer garden provided by Fort George Brewery.

The cost for parking is $5, and admission to the game is $5. A new unwrapped toy will substitute for the parking and admission at each entry point. No credit cards or checks will be accepted. Toys for Tots will be at the game to accept all money collected.

Support for this event is provided by several local individuals and businesses and Warrenton and Seaside high school athletics. Additional support and volunteers are needed. For information, contact Velva Bradish at 503-861-0245.
