The Astoria Regatta has announced the 2018 court, which consists of four Regatta Princesses.

Danielle Morinville is a junior at Knappa High School. She has been involved in the Miss Clatsop County Scholarship Program, 4-H, and her church youth group, and plans to attend a four-year university after graduation.

Catherine Tapales attends Warrenton High School and is involved with the student council, National Honor Society, Communicare, and is also the head stats girl for the school’s wrestling team. She plans to attend the University of Washington to study toxicology and become a pathologist.

Nikkole Sasso was born and raised in Astoria, and is a junior at Astoria High School. She has been dancing at Encore Dance Studio since she was 3 years old. She teaches three classes there, and also works at the Astoria Dutch Bros. Coffee.

Katie Zagata attends Seaside High School. She is involved in soccer, basketball and track, sings in her high school choir and is part of the student government. After high school, she plans to go to a four-year university.

The Astoria Regatta is Aug. 8 to 11, and the theme this year is “Making Waves!” For information, go to www.astoriaregatta.com
