SEASIDE — The sixth annual North Oregon Coast Birdathon, which is a fundraiser for the Wildlife Center of the North Coast, is from noon Saturday to noon Sunday. During the all-ages, family-friendly event, participants count bird species they see.

Susan Peterson, Mitzi York and Terry Finlayson are hosting two birding stations on Saturday: from noon to 1 p.m. at the Seaside Mill Ponds; and from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Necanicum Estuary, across from Seaside High School.

A table will be set up at both locations with binoculars, a scope and books. Donations to the wildlife center will be accepted.
