The Governor’s Marketplace event is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Columbia Hall, Room 219, at Clatsop Community College. A continental breakfast and check-in starts at 7:30 a.m.

Businesses will learn how to get certified to do business with local, state and federal government agencies. The event also includes important tips and information about what public agencies are buying, where opportunities can be found, solving red tape issues, financing options from a lending panel of experts, and other business resources. Networking and one-on-one time is available with multiple state agencies.

There is no cost for this event, which includes a continental breakfast and lunch. To register online, go to 2018gmp_clatsopcc.eventbrite.com

There is also a free GCAP certification workshop from 2 to 4:30 p.m. To register for that specific training, go to GCAP’s event calendar gcap.org
