Burglary suspect puts up fight with police

An attempted burglary on Bond Street over the weekend landed one local man in jail. But he didn’t go down without a fight and is now charged with three counts of resisting arrest, as well as a slew of other charges.

Astoria Police responded to a report of a burglary at 341 Bond St. just after 2 a.m. Friday.
