Warnings issued about Clatsop County, state highway work this week

Clatsop County crews will be chopping brush in the Jewell Area on Vesper Road off Oregon Highway 202 this week, cleaning drainage ditches on Perkins Road from U.S. Highway 101 to the end and cleaning culverts in the John Day area.

County crews will also be gravel road grading in the Knappa area on Svensen Island, Maki and Schultz roads, patching pot holes in the Astoria area as needed, and sweeping roads throughout the county as needed to remove residual storm debris.
