Janet Dee Doney, 73, of Warrenton, died on Oct. 4, 2017, at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland.
Janet was born on June 6, 1944 in Vancouver, Washington to Dale and Ceciel Greer, one of six children.
She married Dick Williams in 1962 and had three children, Jeff, April and Mark Williams. In 1989, after divorcing, Janet married Glenn P. Doney on May 13, 1989. He survives, residing in their Warrenton home.
In addition to her husband, Glenn, she is survived by her sons, Jeff and Mark Williams; her daughter, April Brown; her granddaughter, Jordin Ashe; and two grandsons, Wyatt and Logan Williams.
Janet worked in the fish cannery in Hammond, and also enjoyed raising and selling flowers for a number of years from their former Hammond home. Her favorite flowers were roses, and no matter where she lived, her yard was full of beautiful flowers.
She strongly believed in guardian angels and believed everyone had one to protect and guide them.
A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Warrenton on Monday, Oct. 9, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be later at Ocean View Cemetery in Warrenton.
