Patricia became a resident of Bellingham, Washington, in 1997, after leaving her childhood home in Astoria, Oregon. Patricia loved life. She loved to travel, doing arts and crafts, reading, and most of all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed raising two of them, Dustin and Briana, and watching them mature into responsible young adults.

Patricia loved to cook, and Sunday dinner was a very important event in her household. She also loved her animals and her country life in Bellingham. Patricia had many enjoyable jobs in her lifetime, which include waitressing, management and many others.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to ovarian cancer research, which was the disease she battled for over six years. The family wishes to extend gratitude to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, University of Washington Gynecologic Oncology, Whatcom Hospice, and many other caring physicians and nurses for their support.

A celebration of life will be in her honor at a later date for family and friends.

We will all miss her beautiful smile. The light of her life continues to shine through for all of us.
