Camp Fire group waves the flag

On Oct. 5, the Astoria Camp Fire group was presented a flag and certificate by Lt. Cmdr. KARL HELLBERG of the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, TAMMY HERDENER STANLEY told the Ear.

The flag that was presented was flown over Camp Patriot in Kuwait in honor of this Camp Fire group of third-graders, Tammy explained, because they sent donated Camp Fire Candy to Hellbergs unit last year while the unit was deployed.
