Some health information circulating via e-mail is legitimate, such as the advice to ask these three questions if you suspect someone is having a stroke (caused by a blood clot or bleeding in the brain).
Ask them to smile (both sides of the mouth and face should move the same way).
Ask them to raise both arms (both arms should move in the same way).
Ask them to speak a simple sentence (speech should be clear and make sense).
If someone has trouble with any of these tasks, call 911 and get the person to a hospital right away for medical care.
