A college level class in acting is offered through the Clatsop Community College Community Education Department for spring term.

The class is from 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesday nights, beginning April 8.

Class will be taught at the Astor Street Opry Company (ASOC) Theater, at The Finnish Meat Market, 279 W. Marine Drive, in Astoria. Instructed by Del Corbett, the original producer and director of the long-running play, "Shanghaied in Astoria," this class is sponsored by the Liberty Guild, ASOC, Klamath First Bank and Jade River Acupuncture in conjunction with CCC.

The acting class fee is $50 per student for up to 20 students. Full college transfer credits (3 credits) are available for both classes with complete tuition costs from CCC. Call the CCC Community Education Department for more information and to sign up for class.
