CANNON BEACH - Hanne and Harry Greaver have been living and working in Cannon Beach for 25 years and their artwork will be celebrated during an artist's reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6 at the Cannon Beach Gallery.

The couple operates their own gallery and studio, the Greaver Gallery, where they exhibit their prints, paintings and drawings.

As a special event for their 25th anniversary the Greavers will have a one month show at the Cannon Beach Arts Association's gallery, the Cannon Beach Gallery.

Hanne Greaver creates colorful paintings of scenes often found in and around Cannon Beach. Her images also include images of children and families as well as still lifes.

Harry Greaver's paintings and prints are most often images of the coastal landscape. Windblown trees and the textures and colors of the native landscape are rendered in prints and watercolors.

The exhibit runs through Sept. 29. The Cannon Beach Gallery, 1064 S. Hemlock, is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Monday.
