CANNON BEACH - Keiko Nakadate will exhibit a new body of oil paintings at the Cannon Beach Gallery through June 28. A juried group show will accompany Nakadate's work.

Nakadate's paintings are primarily floral still lifes with seasonal themes on paper and canvas. Flowers, shell forms, bamboo and other botanicals contribute to an Asian influence that pervades the rich color and formal design elements that are trademarks of Nakadate's work.

An artist's reception is 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 5. The Cannon Beach Gallery is a program of the nonprofit Cannon Beach Arts Association and is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Monday at 1064 S. Hemlock St.
