Two “Deadliest Catch” captains, SIG HANSEN of the fishing vessel Northwestern, pictured left, and KEITH COLBURN of F/V The Wizard, pictured right, will appear as contestants on the game show “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” ( on ABC tonight, with host MEREDITH VIEIRA.

The two skippers are rivals during the crabbing season on Discovery Channel’s hit show, but they were team-mates on “Millionaire,” trying to win money for the Seattle Children’s Hospital.

“We compete for a living, so because of this game show, we’ve now bonded!” Sig told ABC. “This is only a momentary bonding though, trust me,” declared Keith.

The ABC press release notes that the captains are “used to navigating rough seas, hurricane force winds and massive icebergs ... but said that those challenges pale in comparison to the stress of appearing on ‘Millionaire.’”

When asked what kind of topics the pair were hoping to see in their “Millionaire” questions, Keith said, “Crab, nautical terms, fishing, ropes, lines, buoys ...”

“Anything mechanical,” Sig added. “No poetry, nothing in the arts. You guys threw us under the bus. Thanks.” The Ear suspects they did just fine, but we’ll have to tune in tonight to find out.
