The Astoria Children's Museum celebrates its facility as "The Place to Be" for local children this summer by throwing a Summer Kick-Off Party from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 3.

The event is free for children and their accompanying adults and will include crafts, games, prizes and food. A new Lewis and Clark exhibit will be highlighted, and children are welcome to play and explore the museum. The kick-off party is sponsored by Rick Berezay State Farm Insurance in Astoria.
