The Classy Canines Open Dog Show is Saturday, Nov. 1 and Sunday, Nov. 2 at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds, 92937 Walluski Loop.

The schedule includes obedience and agility categories and junior and adult handling. Cost for the first class is $5 and $3 for more classes with the same dog for 4-H members or $6 and $4 for more classes with the same dog for non-4-H members.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. Saturday and judging begins at 9 a.m. A beginning agility class is from 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday with instructor Herb Gercke. Cost is $6 for 4-H members and $15 for non-4-H members. The agility fun match is from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Those participating in the agility fun match must have previous experience. The event will not have a confidence course.

There will be concessions on site as well as a flea market. The dog show is a fund-raiser for the Classy Canines 4-H Dog Club. For more information, call Carleen Lane at (503) 325-1693.
