Fundraiser Car Wash Set — The Astoria High School Key Club will hold a car wash from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Astoria Ford, 710 W Marine Drive. All proceeds will go to the Key Club’s new CommuniCare project, which is sponsored by the Harold and Arlene Schnitzer CARE foundation, and benefits the local club, school and community.

Block of the Month Group Meets — The Saturday Strip Club/Block of the Month group will meet from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Custom Threads, 1282 Commercial St. The cost is $25 per year for membership, plus $26 for each strip set; the pattern is free for attendees or $5 each for members who don’t attend. AAUW Meeting Set — The Seaside Branch of the American Association of University Women will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Seaside Public Library, 1131 Broadway. All interested community members are welcome to attend. The theme for this year’s programs is “Girls Forward.” The state AAUW president and a representative from the national AAUW organization will share information on what is being done to help empower girls. The AAUW is a national organization whose mission is to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research. Senior Meals Set — The Warrenton Senior Lunch Program provides a chance to meet new friends and get reacquainted with old friends.
