Auditions for Larry Shue’s comedy “The Foreigner,” directed by Edward James, are being held at 6:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Astor Street Opry Company Playhouse, 129 W. Bond St. There are parts for five men and two women, ages 18 and older, and no experience is necessary.

The show plays for three weekends, Oct. 11 to 25. The first read-through is Aug. 25, with rehearsals beginning Sept. 1 and continuing up to opening night.
