Daughters of the American Revolution members honor veterans
- Updated

Pictured, members of the Astoria Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution and Vietnam veterans who were recipients of DAR certificates of Appreciation for Service, presented March 29 at the American Legion in Seaside. Although not all of the 243 recipients attended, the post commander will give out the remaining certificates as those individuals come in. Regent Sandra Fuller, Sue Glen and Robin Rhodes greeted each veteran, and cookies, coffee and lemonade were shared. Veterans from other wars were also present, and were thanked for their service.
