Liberty Restoration Inc. has announced it is honoring Pam Lum, Lori Lum Toyooka and Julie Lum at its fourth annual Lady Liberty Awards Luncheon, which is being held from noon to 1:30 p.m. April 7 in the McTavish Room at the Liberty Theater.

The Lady Liberty Award recognizes and honors people of achievement who live or work in the Columbia-Pacific region. Honorees have been selected on the basis of exemplary volunteerism, professional excellence and contributions to the community as a whole. Lady Liberty honorees are each individually diverse in their accomplishments, and represent a wide range of interests and fields of endeavor.

The “Lum girls” have made many contributions to the community, including individual service on volunteer boards and committees, philanthropic gifts and sponsorships and a decade of support of Liberty Restoration Inc., which operates the Liberty Theater. In addition, they are part of a family legacy of supporting scores of community organizations across Clatsop County.

The Lum family is known for Lum’s Auto Center in Warrenton.

Star table sponsorships for the event cost $1,500, seat eight or nine people, and may be reserved through Rosemary Baker-Monaghan, executive director of the Liberty Theater, at director@liberty-theater.org. Star sponsors are recognized with table signage and in the program.

To become an event sponsor, contact board member Betty Smith at The Daily Astorian 503-325-3211, ext. 238.

Individual tickets are $50 each, and are on sale only through the Liberty Box Office at 503-325-5922, ext 55. The box office hours are 2 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

The proceeds from this event will benefit the Liberty Theater.
