WARRENTON — The 12th annual Scrap Hunger scrapbooking, crafting and card-making event takes place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Warrenton Grade School, 820 S.W. Cedar Ave. Lunch, soda, water and coffee are provided.

In accordance with Scrap Hunger’s mission, “Let’s Help Feed Those in Need,” the admission “fee” is eight nonperishable food items, which will give the person entering two tickets for a chance to win hourly prizes donated for this event. Every three additional food items brought in is good for another raffle ticket. There will also be raffle tickets for a grand prize. Those attending should bring craft supplies and projects and a soft pillow for comfort.

At the event there will also be a box to donate cards to be given to the local care facilities, and a donation box for craft supplies to be given to the Ronald McDonald House.
