The Cannon Beach Gallery is hosting "Artist's Palate," an invitational exhibit of regional artists working with a food theme. The exhibit will open with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 5.

"Artist's Palate" will include a wide variety of two-dimensional media including painting, drawing, printmaking and mixed media as well as some three-dimensional works.

More than 20 artists will participate in the show including Sally Lackaff, Fred Dwello, Elizabeth Serreau and Susan Planalp. This exhibit is sure to have something to please everyone from those with finicky taste to those who like to try everything.

Pick up a copy of the "No Starving Artists Cook Book." Each artist from the exhibit will contribute an illustrated recipe for the book, which will be a fund-raiser for the nonprofit gallery.

The exhibit will run through April 28. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Monday.
