8 p.m. - "Angry Housewives" at the River Theater, 230 W. Marine Drive

Friday, Aug. 9

11 a.m. - Memorial Dedication at Maritime Memorial Park under the Astoria Bridge

Noon - Barbecue at Uniontown Memorial Park on West Marine Drive

2 p.m. - Royal Rosarian Rose Planting at the Flavel House

6 p.m. - Welcome Aboard dinner at the Astoria Red Lion Inn, 400 Industry St.

7 p.m. - Brewfest judging begins in Baked Alaska parking lot on 12th Street, event is open to the public afterwards. Admission is $5.

7:30 p.m. - "Shanghaied in Astoria" in Uniontown

8 p.m. - "Angry Housewives" at the River Theater, 230 W. Marine Drive

8 p.m. - "Pirates of Penzance" performed by the North Coast Chorale at the Liberty Theater. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for children younger than 12.

9 p.m. to 1 a.m. - Pirate's Den at Pier 11 Mall

Saturday, Aug. 10

8 to 11 a.m. - Pancake Breakfast, First Presbyterian church, 11th Street and Grand Avenue

9 a.m. - Regatta Softball Tournament at Tapiola Park

9 a.m. to 11 a.m. - Registration for U.S. Bank Grand Land Parade

9 a.m. to dusk - Classic Car Show next to the Columbia River Maritime Museum

Noon - U.S. Bank Grand Land Parade starts off at 17th and Exchange streets in Astoria.

2 p.m. - Brewfest reopens in Baked Alaska parking lot on 12th Street. Admission is $5 to sample many award-winning beers judged Friday evening.

2 p.m. - Astoria Yacht Club Sailboat Races on the river. Entry fee is $30 per boat. Best viewing areas will be off the Port of Astoria and at Hammond Mooring Basin.

2 to 4 p.m. - Children's street-painting

2 to 5 p.m. - Salmon Barbecue at Doc's on 12th Street on the RiverWalk. $12 per person

6:45 p.m. - Coast Guard Search and Rescue demonstration, Columbia Maritime Museum docks.

7 p.m. - Twilight Parade, along the waterfront. Best viewing area will be the 17th Street pier where Capt. Paul Jackson will talk about each vessel as it passes.

10 p.m. - Fireworks on the waterfront

Sunday, Aug. 11

9 a.m. - Farewell breakfast at the Astoria Red Lion Inn, 400 Industry St.

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Sunday Market opens on 12th Street

11 a.m. - Astoria Yacht Club Sailboat Races on the river. Best viewing areas will be off the Port of Astoria and at Hammond Mooring Basin.

11 a.m. - Ducky Derby at the West Mooring Basin. Ducks are $5 each; first place duck wins $100.

Noon - Mutt March parade registration. $20 per walker and dog, $5 per additional dog. Parade starts at 1 p.m. For more information call 325-5773.

2 p.m. - Sweet Adeline Quartet at the Liberty Theater. $5 for adults, free for children 12 and younger.
