SEAVIEW, Wash. - Local bird lovers can spot avian expert David Drummond at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, May 2, at the Sou'wester Lodge.

Drummond will present a slide show and lead a discussion on "Wild Birds of Willapa Bay." The presentation is timed to coincide with the greatest movement of migrating shorebirds on the Long Beach Peninsula. Drummond is an internationally known authority on raptors and has birded throughout the United States, Europe and the Middle East.

Admission is by donation, which goes to local charities. Everyone is welcome; seating is limited, though, so advance reservations are recommended by calling (360) 642-2542. Light refreshments will be served.
