A fundraiser Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction for Don Kemmerer will be held from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Bob Chisholm Community Center, 1225 Avenue A in Seaside.

Kemmerer, a local plumber and plumbing inspector for Astoria, Seaside and Clatsop County, suffered a disabling stroke on his 52nd birthday Feb. 28, which left him paralyzed on the left side and unable to work. He has continuing medical expenses he is unable to cover.

On the menu will be spaghetti, salad, garlic bread and dessert. The silent auction will include items and gift certificates donated by local businesses.

The cost is $24 for a family of four or more, $8 for individuals and $5 for children 10 and younger.
