Joy Creek Nursery, 20300 N.W. Watson Road in Scappoose, offers a free 1 p.m. class on creating "on and on bloom" with nursery owner Maurice Horn. The Sou'Wester Garden Club presents a flower arranging class Saturday, June 18 at the Bob Chisholm Community Center, 1225 Ave. A in Seaside. The fee is $5. Prize-winning flower arrangers and judges Joan Gamble, Sue Holman and Mary Rogness will teach and demonstrate methods of flower arranging for the Sou'Wester's upcoming flower show Aug. 20-21. July 9 marks the date for the Lower Columbia Preservation Society's fifth annual Garden Tour and raffle. The event takes place 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and features town and country gardens.
