Wednesday, Nov. 20 The Sou'Wester Garden Club meets at 10 a.m. to conduct business and progresses to a 10:45 a.m. program titled "Fish Hatchery Operations." Harley Meithe will give a talk and show slides. The gathering takes place at the Seaside Community Center. All gardeners are welcome.
The Clatsop County Beekeepers Association meets at 7 p.m. at the OSU Extension Service Meeting Room at 2001 Marine Drive in Astoria, second floor.

Ongoing and upcoming Clatsop Community College offers gardening courses this fall for the ENCORE - Exploring New Concepts of Retirement Education - program. The Clatsop County Master Gardeners work in their Demonstration Garden at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds on the third Saturday of each month. The start time is 10 a.m. - if the work day is rained out, plan to attend the following weekend.

Now's the time to register for the 2003 Master Gardener Class. Class size is limited to the first 30 people to sign up. Sessions start Jan. 8 at Clatsop Community College. Classes take place from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on two Saturdays, through the winter term.
