The Clatsop County Master Gardeners work in their Demonstration Garden at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds on the third Saturday of each month. The start time is 10 a.m. - if the work day is rained out, plan to attend the following weekend.
A class, Flower Arranging at Christmas, will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 14 at Clatsop Community College. The session covers wreaths, ornaments and arrangements. For more information, call the college at (503) 325-0910.
Now's the time to register for the 2003 Master Gardener Class. The class size is limited to the first 30 people to sign up for the sessions, which start Jan. 8 at Clatsop Community College. The classes will take place from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on two Saturdays, through the winter term.
