Upcoming and ongoing• The Sunset Orchid Society presents their 7th Annual Fall Show & Sale, "Dreaming of Orchids." The event runs 1 to 5 .m. Saturday, Oct. 4 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5. • The Clatsop County Master Gardeners and the Clatsop County/OSU Extension Service hold a free seminar on the "ABC's of Garden Design" Oct. 11. The session, which runs from 1 to 4 p.m., is free and open to a limited number of participants. Topics will include planning, renovating an established landscape, elements and principles of design and plant selection.
