Come burn off some of that turkey and cranberry sauce at the next Contra Dance at the Netel Grange, Saturday, Nov. 27.

Seattle favorites W.B. Reid and Bonnie Zahnow will provide the toe-tapping music and Astoria's Dave Ambrose will be calling the dances, from simple to sublime. No partner is necessary and all ages are welcome to this smoke- and alcohol-free dance.

A beginner's workshop starts at 7:30 p.m., and the music and dancing goes from 8 to 11 p.m. Admission is $5 to $10 on a sliding scale, and children younger than 12 are admitted free.

The Netel Grange is located four miles south of Miles Crossing on Lewis and Clark Road, next to the Logan Road Chapel. For information, call (503) 325-3602.
